We have arrived in Brazil, after a long plane ride. in Cuiaba we were greeted by Ethan and Greg and then we headed out to Pocone via bus. Once there we unloaded our stuff and discovered that the Kombi had both a flat tire and a a flat spare tire! That night all 13 of us ate dinner outside at a local restaurant,  we stayed the night Pousada Pantaneira packed tightly in 3 rooms with 8 beds. The next morning Ethan and Cory rose early in order to tend to the kombi's ailments. The rest of the group rose with the birds at 7:30 AM and enjoyed a breakfast filled with fruit complements of the Pousada Pantaneira. Soon afterwards the Kombi returned with 2  new tires and the group made a trip to Constru Max to stock up on building supplies. Now we are Beginning our trek down the Transpantaneira to the Jaguar Ecological Reserve.
