Bela took us back to the Pantanal problem-free on the 12th with enough time in the afternoon to take off the formwork from the top bond beams and set up for the settling tank slab. We spent the next day piling dirt and building a retaining wall for the slab, and started pouring the slab at 4:30 PM - its gets dark about 5:30 PM but decided it we wouldn't have to work in the sun and we could wake up in the morning and be at last done with concrete mixing. With the slab in place, we could then set to installing the filtration system. Water will be pumped from a 12-m well by a submersible pump connected to a solar panel, this water will feed into two 2000-L settling tanks where the iron will settle out and be released from a bottom valve, and then the rest of the water will feed into six sand filters to filter out more impurities, this water will gravity feed into a 5000-L tank set into the ground. A second pump will be in this huge tank, and will be wired to a solar-charged battery, when turned on it will pump water to the 2500-L tanks on top of the tower.
